RITQ Director Dr. Jennie Jocson was a plenary speaker at the three-day Tarlac State University (TSU) Teacher Education Forum 2024 with the theme “Insights into Implementation: Understanding EDCOM II Report and the MATATAG Curriculum as Inputs to Teacher Education.” She delivered her talk on 1 August 2024.

The forum aimed to equip teacher educators from public and private Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) with tools to integrate key reforms into their classrooms.

Dr. Jocson’s presentation, “Bridging the Gap Between EDCOM II Findings and the Classroom,” offered a deep understanding of the EDCOM II Report and the MATATAG curriculum. She discussed valuable strategies for integrating these initiatives into teacher education programs, with the aim of developing future-ready educators.

As a Center of Development in Teacher Education, TSU continues to support private and public TEIs in improving their programs and practices. The forum, aimed at enhancing educator training, concluded with participants gaining actionable insights to incorporate into their teacher education programs.
