Dr. Jennie Jocson, RITQ Director and member of the EDCOM II Standing Committee for Higher Education and Teacher Education and Development, was one of the two keynote speakers at the National Conference on Educational Measurement and Evaluation (NCEME 2024). The conference commenced on August 29 at De La Salle University Manila.

Organized by the Philippine Educational Measurement and Evaluation Association, the conference focused on the theme “Assessment Innovations: Initiatives for Education Reform in the Philippines.” Dr. Jocson’s keynote address highlighted EDCOM 2’s priorities and recommendations on educational assessment.

In her speech, Dr. Jocson discussed the EDCOM 2 definition of the assessment system, shared key findings and recommendations, and explored their implications for education governance and teacher education.

PEMEA is a professional organization dedicated to advancing educational measurement, assessment, and evaluation. Its primary goal is to support educators, researchers, and practitioners by providing a platform for the exchange of ideas, research, and best practices in the field of educational assessment.
